Lerner and Loewe’s My Fair Lady is based upon George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion and tells the heart-warming story of Eliza Doolittle, a cockney flower girl who takes lessons from Professor Henry Higgins so that she may be seen as a well-born lady.
