What time does the picnic area open?
The Picnic area opens at 5.30pm for evening performances and 12 noon for matinee performances – tables and chairs are provided but cannot be reserved. Guests are more than welcome however to bring their own picnic furniture. We do respectfully request that all picnic items are returned to vehicles before entering the theatre venue itself.

One of my party is in a wheelchair / has mobility problems –
what facilities do you offer?
The whole of the Kilworth House Theatre site including the car park is accessible for wheelchair users and those with mobility difficulties.
Within the auditorium there are four spaces on Row A reserved for wheelchair users. In each case there is a seat next to the wheelchair space for an accompanying person. We prefer to speak directly to the customer about their specific needs and allocate them the best seats available to serve these needs.
There are reserved parking spaces for wheelchair users only which are booked through the Box Office at the time of booking a wheelchair space in the auditorium on Row A. We also have our own wheelchair available on request from the ticket office for guests to borrow to gain access to and from the auditorium.

I can’t now come to the performance I have tickets for – can I return them or swop them for another performance? In line with most other venues, tickets for Kilworth House Theatre cannot be exchanged or money refunded once payment has been made. If guests are unable to use their tickets, the Box Office will endeavour to resell them on the understanding that the sale of the theatre’s own available seats takes priority. A fee of 20% will be charged for a successful resale. Guests are welcome to try and sell their tickets privately or give to friends or family.
